Planning & Development
This bridge was constructed as a replacement structure for the old steel beam structure across Jackson Creek.
The bridge consists of precast concrete rigid frame sections with cast-in-place concrete deck on top. A water pipe was installed below the structure by “Bore and Jack” method. The bridge had to be constructed within a short and restricted time frame in order to minimize interruption of traffic and the structural system selected facilitated the completion within the required time frame.
